Did You Know? Mushroom Month
This librarian's favorite mushrooms is the Oyster mushroom! It's a tasty variety that is even grown around El Paso! It's really easy to cook, too. My favorite recipe involves frying them in oil with just a little salt and pepper. Perfect!

You missed it! Painting Class at the library
The Sergio Troncoso Library had a painting class on August 16, 2022. Patty and Alicia from the Isaac Center of El Paso taught students how to do a multimedia piece of art.
If you'd like to come to an art class, watch for upcoming events on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

Sergio Troncoso Library Blog
On March 14, 2022, the Sergio Troncoso Library opened again for business! Being open to the public is a wonderful thing. There is nothing we love more than engaging with our community and helping you find the information you need!
This library has a deep commitment to community engagement. Our namesake, Mr. Sergio Troncoso, the author, has always been dedicated to the Ysleta neighborhood. Let us all come together and enjoy our library!
