You Missed It! - Horror Club and Sip and Paint

You missed the fun this Saturday, February 11! We had a great time at Horror Club, making some creepy crafts! We also had a great time working on couple's art at our Sip and Paint!

You missed it! Horror Book Club

 

Today we had the first meeting of the Horror Book Club! There was trivia, movies, and a heated discussion about which movie monsters were the scariest. If you missed it, that's OK! We'll be meeting again and hope you come to the library then for some scary fun times!

You Missed it! Friday art class with Patty and Alicia

 

On Friday afternoons, Patty and Alicia from the Isaac Center come to teach art classes at the library! If you missed these classes, don't forget to come next time!

This past Friday, students learned mindfulness techniques and then painted some rocks to look a little bit spooky! Whole families got together to have some weekend fun!

You missed it! BIBLIOAZTECA art opening

On September 16, the library held an opening showing local artists and featuring local musicians and performers. The art will continue to be on display until December 1, 2022. 

However, if you didn't attend the event, you still missed a lot! Many of the artists were on hand to meet and greet. Some artists were selling work and prints. Two bands, "Signals After Dark," and "Valiant Blues," performed amazing sets live. Marco Lopez and Liz Tina also performed solo shows. There were also fire dancers at all four libraries!

You missed it! Painting Class at the library

 

The Sergio Troncoso Library had a painting class on August 16, 2022. Patty and Alicia from the Isaac Center of El Paso taught students how to do a multimedia piece of art.
