According to the website, "Haunted Places," the Kennedy Brothers Memorial Apartments, which are fairly close to the Sergio Troncoso Library, are haunted. The apartments were allegedly built on top of a former graveyard. They are also located across from Mt. Carmel Cemetery. The spooky happenings have been seen by multiple people, as you can see and read more here.

You Missed it! Friday art class with Patty and Alicia
On Friday afternoons, Patty and Alicia from the Isaac Center come to teach art classes at the library! If you missed these classes, don't forget to come next time!
This past Friday, students learned mindfulness techniques and then painted some rocks to look a little bit spooky! Whole families got together to have some weekend fun!

Did You Know? Indigenous People's Day
On Indigenous People's Day, don't forget that the Ysleta del sur Pueblo tribe, also known as the Tigua people, live in El Paso. They are the only Pueblo tribe recognized in the state of Texas and they have lived here for more than 300 years! To find out more, visit https://www.ysletadelsurpueblo.org/.
The library also has an excellent selection of books written by indigenous people. Ask a librarian to read one today!
